Where is Holiday Inn Portsmouth located?

We are located, just minutes from the City centre and the waterfront.

Does you have a car park?

Yes. We have limited on-site parking and it is available at a charge of £5.00 per night. Please note you will need to register your vehicle details on arrival at the hotel to avoid a parking fine.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time is 3pm, and check-out time is 11am. 

Can I pay for early check-in/late check-out?

How much is it in a taxi from Holiday Inn Portsmouth to the town centre or train station?

Both Portsmouth Harbour and Portsmouth & Southsea stations are within walking distance of the Hotel (approx. 15 minutes). It is also a short walk to the City centre.

Does Holiday Inn Portsmouth offer cots?

Yes, cots are available on request. Please request at the time of booking. 

Can Holiday Inn Portsmouth book me a taxi?

Yes, we allow dogs only. They are charged at £15 per dog, per night.

How do I get to the Ferry Terminals?

There are three Ferry Terminals in Portsmouth.
The International Ferry Terminal is located approximately 10 minutes’ drive from the Hotel.
The Isle of Wight Catamaran (on-foot only) departs from the Portsmouth Harbour train station (approx. 15 minutes’ walk from the Hotel).
The Isle of Wight Ferry Terminal & Gosport Ferry Terminal are located by Gunwharf Quays (approx. 15 minutes’ walk away from the Hotel).

How far is the bus station? (The Hard, Southsea)

The Hard bus station is very close to Gunwharf Quays – located approximately 15 minutes away on foot from the Hotel.
National Express buses also stop at the Southsea bus stop, opposite Clearance Pier, which is 500 yards away from the Hotel’s entrance.

Where is the Hovercraft located?

The Hovercraft to the Isle of Wight is a quick 500 yards walk from the Hotel.
